At yesterday’s by-elections the results were as follows:
- Labour: Held one (Rossendale)
- Conservative: Held one (Wellingborough), Lost two to the LibDems (Forest Heath and Conwy Unitary)
- LibDem: Held two (Norfolk and Winchester City), Won two from the Conservatives
- Independent: Held one (Carmarthenshire).
- SNP: Held one (Dundee).
