Non-conference-goers may be aware of the Conservatives' slogan for Birmingham 2012 – "Britain Can Deliver".
Conference-goers, on the other hand, will have seen the banners in the main conference centre (pictured above) heralding Conservative/Coalition achievements and policies, which I have noted down:
- "Rewarding aspiration"
- "Deficit cut by 25%
- "Backing enterprise"
- "Welfare that works"
- "Protecting the NHS"
- "World-class schools"
