Changes at CCHQ have been happening since the General election in July this year and the subsequent election of Kemi Badenoch as leader.
Today Stephen Massey has announced his departure as Chief Executive at Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) after two years in the role.
Mr Massey has been involved with the Party for 50 years and will be staying on at CCHQ to support with business engagement.
His replacement will be announced in due course.
Stephen Massey said:
“As our Party renews under Kemi’s leadership, it is the right time for me to hand over the reigns. It has been an immense privilege to be the CEO of the Conservative Party working alongside so many dedicated and talented people. I wish my successor all the best. The country needs the Conservatives back in office more than ever.”
Lord Dominic Johnson Conservative Party Co-Chairman, said:
“Stephen has served the Conservative Party with distinction for over five decades, I want to thank him for everything he has done. I am proud to have worked with him in my time as co-Chairman and even prouder to call Stephen a friend.”
Nigel Huddleston MP, Conservative Party Co-Chairman, said:
