Mark Wallace reported recently that the final four for Braintree were James Cleverly, Michael McManus, Suella Fernades and Sarah Macken.
Cleverly, who works in web publishing, is currently a member of the London Assembly and is a ConservativeHome contributor (read him here on what Party campaigning can learn from Candy Crush) was selected yesterday evening. We send our congratulations.
ConservativeHome is told that Fernandes was the runner-up, McManus third and Macken fourth. Cleverly will defend Brooks Newmark’s current majority of 16,121.
