Sunak has gone from top of our Cabinet League Table last year and second in our last Next Tory Leader survey to a middling player in this poll.
He is even narrowly pipped at the post by an outsider, Kemi Badenoch.
Even so, he could beat all comers today bar Penny Mordaunt and Ben Wallace were he able to get all the don’t knows into his column.
And were he to do so he would be only six points behind the Trade Minister.
Such an emphatic squeeze would be very unlikely, but though it’s game and perhaps set against the Chancellor, the match isn’t over yet.
